About Me

As a hairstylist of 16 years, I am currently licensed in California with a Cosmetology license and a Personal Service Permit. My specialties include extensions, hair color, highlights, lowlights, all over color, root touch-ups, balayage, beach waves, curls, braids, Brazilian blowouts, editorial and wedding hairstyling. I enjoy finishing what I have started with a haircut, too! My Personal Service Permit allows me to join you in the comfort of your own space, please text as appointments are limited to freelance hair styling, brazilian blowouts and extensions ONLY.

Throughout my career I have worked with many talented stylists. I have learned much, taught some and enjoy my work, daily. I have attended multiple continued education classes in New York with Bumble and bumble. University for styling. I have earned Master hair color certifications by completing continued education classes with L’Oreal, Redken and Schwarzkopf in San Diego, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. I have gained my certification with Brazilian Blowout, Easihair extensions and Hothead extensions, as well.

I have had the opportunity to work for television film cast and crew members, news anchors, models on location for magazine print work, photo shoots and fashion shows, musicians prior to their shows and music videos, as well as, braid hair for combat sport athletes prior to their fights. To see a smile on each one of their faces as they look into the mirror prior to leaving a room means the world to me.

I have also worked with the men and women of our armed forces, doctors, nurses, CEO's, firemen, paramedics, attorneys, teachers, artists, students, bankers, realtors, stay at home moms and dad's … you get the picture :) I feel we are all here, created equally, and, beautifully, leaving our imprint as we go.

It’s no secret that all of my clients are special to me. The most gratifying work, however, would be giving back to our community. Whether it’s cutting or styling hair for the men and women staying at The Ronald McDonald House of San Diego, styling hair for the children of the Challenged Athletes Foundation, or cutting hair for the children at our local schools in order to donate to Locks of Love, my heart is always happy.
